Second House of Minds Vast ground surrounded by the primeval forest; assimilating into it, being able to spend time with family in liberating and relaxed mood: In order to help realize such owner’s wishes, I used as a motif Farnsworth House of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe – a representative architect of 20th century’s modernism architecture. The image that came to mind was a simple and lightsome one-storied structure with the floor that looks like floating above the ground, the thin roof extended in parallel with the floor, and glass windows of full height from the floor to the roof. As a gathering place, the living room has a large round sofa and it is an accent to the house. This sofa is a custom made as the core of a family gathering.
