We used abundant timbers of Hokkaido for the house. Reviving forests is a main stream as an effective means to alleviate the global warming now. A forest regains its intrinsic power if it’s properly thinned to let the light come through. That is why I use indigenous timbers of Hokkaido, instead of imported timbers. If we use domestic timbers from forest thinning properly, we can protect forests. With timbers from Hokkaido used, this environmentally conscious house became full of space for well-being and hansom designs, where they could enjoy their hobbies full-heartedly. 171171
